Come out and discover opportunities that can help you find your passion and career interests before college. Gap Year counselors and advisers will be on hand to answer your questions about planning a year out. Listen to featured gap year expert Holly Bull of Interim Programs, Princeton, N.J., discuss the benefits of a gap year and the steps required to plan a successful year out.

The idea of delaying college entrance for a year, or taking a semester out during college is becoming more popular in the U.S. One reason Gap Year options are gaining serious consideration, is because credit and financial aid resources for college are withering. Depending on the type of program or experience, a gap year, or semester can be far less expensive than college tuition, fees and living expenses. Another reason for interest in student gap years is growing emphasis on volunteerism and community service amongst America's youth. Students want to make a difference in the lives of people, communities, the environment etc. Most structured gap year programs offer students a volunteer, service learning component.

Denver based youth organizations Up with People and Leaders Challenge are hosting the event, and Dynamy Internship Year in Worcester, MA is the sponsor.

Look forward to seeing you there!
